We raise Olde English "Babydoll" Southdown miniature sheep, we milk our sheep daily. It is a joy making and using our Sheep Milk Soap and we want to share our soaps with you.
Sheep milk has been documented to be better for your skin than even goat's milk. Sheep milk soap contains natural glycerin and a higher content of vitamin D, calcium and zinc than goat's milk. It is very beneficial for psoriasis, eczema, dry and itchy skin. It has a higher content of protein, energy and fat than goat's milk and twice that of cow's milk. There are adequate amino acids, greater fatty acids and very high butterfat content. The lactic acid in sheep milk is a natural, gentle exfoliate that is beneficial in removing dead skin cells. It also helps with pigmentation of skin from sun damage. Lactose in the milk makes the skin feel soft and silky. The proteins smooth, soften and firm the skin.
Our Sheep Milk Soap is made of only fresh sheep milk and the finest oils along with essential oils for scents. We use only the most natural additives in our soaps such as oatmeal, cornmeal and/or flowers for color and textures. We make small batches at a time so we can provide you with quality soaps. Our scents will vary from time to time as we offer you new types of our sheep milk soaps to try.
